Aviation Sales Lead £100,000 (Depending on experience) Bristol, Lincoln or Cambridge Permanent

Client Overview: The client is a leading aviation / aerospace consultancy that specialise in analysing and advising on infrastructure changes to airports, airport change programmes, legislation / regulation changes from EASA, UK CAA, MAA and impacts this has on airspace design.

Overview: This role will lead all sales opportunities within the civilian aviation sector and will be the main point of contact for external customers. This person will need to manage existing client relationships while bringing on new work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic business development in civil aviation market to secure new projects for consultancy team.
  • Represent the client in the civil aviation marketplace and be the principal point of contact for all client enquiries/issues, establishing productive strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Secure enduring commercial relationships with target customers that deliver revenue and growth opportunities to the business.
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and bid submissions that address client needs and showcase capabilities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Demonstrable experience in a commercial role (business development / sales / operational leadership) in UK aviation/airspace sector.
  • Confident and credible presenting to and influencing senior leadership internally and to civil aviation customers, such as major UK Airport Operators.
  • Understands the client’s capability offering, UK airspace regulatory landscape with a deep understanding of the client customers and their pain points.
  • Strategic thinker, proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive business development plans.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating resource in a matrix structure, including senior technical staff.
