Job Description
Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of a Sales Manager to lead and grow business opportunities within the defence sector. This role can be based out of several locations including; Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
This role requires a proactive and strategic individual who can manage the full sales lifecycle; from market analysis and customer engagement through to bid direction and successful deal closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and sales campaigns, from opportunity shaping through to closure.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, customers, and key stakeholders.
- Manage bids, forecasts, and budgets to deliver consistent growth.
- Develop a multi-year sales pipeline aligned to strategic business goals.
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and marketing initiatives.
- Skills & Experience:Proven record of achieving significant annual sales targets.
- Strong understanding of complex procurement and stakeholder environments.
- Experience in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Skilled in market analysis, forecasting, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
