An opportunity for a Cloud and IT Infrastructure specialist has arisen to join a thriving aerospace company and work on the design, implementation and optimization of enterprise grade cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions. The role requires someone who can ensure the availability and scalability of relevant systems while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
Deliverables
- Architect and implement cloud solutions (Azure)
- Maintain and optimise VMWare
- Own SCCM
- Lead modernisation initiatives for infrastructure including networking and security
- Manage successful backups of critical systems
- Ensure compliance of critical systems
Skills
The position requires someone with a proven background in Cloud and IT Infrastructure engineering and an excellent communicator able to provide leadership to service desk and engineering teams. Experience with the following areas will be required:
- Cloud (preferably Azure)
- VMWare and Hyper-V
- SCCM
- PowerShell/Python
- Firewalls (preferably Palo Alto or Fortinet)
Security Clearance
Eligibility for UKEO clearance (SC) will be required for this role.
