Copello are now looking for several Mechanical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes. This role does offer a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West being mandatory. As a Mechanical Designer, the role will be producing 3D models of either Piping routes, Mechanical compartment arrangements and HVAC systems using AutoCAD. Understanding of CAD toolsets e.g. Solidworks & Siemens in both 2D and 3D. An understanding of Mechanical routed systems 2D/3D in either HVAC or Piping Experience in Mechanical Compartment Integration / Room Integration and or Engineering Standards at Component / Equipment level Our client would also consider applications with experience in another high hazardous industry, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime and Automotive.
