We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Integration & Systems Validation team. You'll be part of a fastâpaced environment, working with cuttingâedge simulation systems that integrate real products, models, and synthetic environments.
This role offers the chance to work across the full product lifecycle from concept demonstration and product development to systems integration and customer trials in a dynamic Digital Battlespace Facility.
What you'll do:
- Plan, conduct, and report on software testing and validation for complex systems.
- Investigate software defects, analyse logs and data, and execute formal qualification testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to support integration, trials, and demonstrations.
- Produce clear test reports and support software delivery and certification.
Essential skills & experience:
- Experience in functional or software testing, verification & validation (V&V), or systems proving.
- Strong problemâsolving and selfâmanagement skills.
- Excellent communication and the ability to work with technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, GitLab, Jenkins, DOORS, JIRA, ALM/PLM, Excel/macros, or similar.
- Understanding of software simulation/emulation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
- ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
