As a Material Controller, you will manage and oversee the inventory of goods and assets, reporting to the Logistics Manager and acting as a key member of the Logistics Team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the efficient flow of materials in and out of the business and contribute to missionâcritical initiatives. You will play a central role in maintaining visibility and integrity of stock, safeguarding the business's ability to meet its commitments.

We develop and support UKâwide and internationally deployed multiâdomain command and control systems, forming a critical part of the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. With curiosity, dedication, and innovation, we tackle some of the world's most challenging problems.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., Production Control, Supply Chain, Mission Assurance) to ensure the availability of materials and equipment.
- Work closely with Production Control, Supply Chain, Logistics, and the warehouse team to monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, forecasting future inventory needs to support production schedules and avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Analyse inventory data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimise inventory control and warehousing processes for efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve materialsârelated issues with the supply chain, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure processes are aligned with company policies, procedures, governance, and values.
