Opportunity for an experienced software engineer to work on the design, development and maintenance of critical infrastructure in a complex environment that strives to create elegant, stable solutions.
The Role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be primarily focused on developing scalable back-end systems for complex solutions and will be involved in development across the SDLC from gathering requirements to deployment, taking ownership for team deliverables and collaborating effectively with wider product and assurance teams.
Skills
Alongside excellent communication and problem-solving skills, this role would suit an experienced software engineer with technical skills in some of the following areas:
- Java, Spring boot, Maven
- React
- Design and development of back-end systems
- CI/CD, Containerisation (eg. Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS)
Location
Cheltenham – flexible working and condensed fortnight available. Some hybrid working may be available but often limited due to nature of the work.
