A new role has arisen with a well-known and highly innovative Research and Development powerhouse to significantly contribute to the ongoing implementation of CI/CD infrastructure as well as deploying automation across a complex estate of applications and embedded software.
The Role
This role will provide exposure to complex infrastructure and specialist hardware (e.g. GPUs and FPGAs) with the role holder utilising the best of DevSecOps, IaC patterns and automation tooling to drive increased rapidity in development and deployment automation. The DevSecOps Engineer will also apply SRE principles to the continual operation of live systems and software hygiene automation to enhance security and reliability.
Requirements
This role requires an innovative Engineer with a problem-solving mindset and good communication skills, able to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Experience in the following areas is sought:
- Familiarity with Cloud and Cyber Technologies
- Understanding of containerisation and container management (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Continuous integration and deployment IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK)
- Linux Shell Scripting
Hybrid Working
2-3 days will be required on site in Woking. The rest can be done from home.
