Are you a recent Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering graduate looking to put your degree into practice?
We’re looking for a Graduate Structural Analysis Engineer to join a talented aerospace team working on cutting-edge technology across Defence, Security and Space. You’ll gain hands-on experience in structural analysis, FEA and testing, working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to real aerospace programmes from concept through to manufacture.
What You’ll Do
- Perform structural and static strength analysis of metallic and composite components.
- Build and post-process FEA models using tools such as Nastran, ANSYS and Altair.
- Support structural testing and correlate analysis with test results.
- Produce technical stress reports and engineering substantiation.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing and test teams.
- Develop your technical skills and take increasing responsibility as you progress.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related subject.
- Interest in structural analysis, FEA and aerospace.
- Familiarity with CAD or simulation tools through university, projects or placements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn — you don’t need to be an aerospace expert already!
