Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business based in Maidenhead in the recruitment of an EMC and TEMPEST Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Stay up to date with relevant EMC and TEMPEST standards. Contribute to requirements reviews and help define applicable EMC and TEMPEST standards. Review test and control plans to ensure products are tested adequately for EMC and TEMPEST. Liaise with test houses to ensure they are trained and equipped to support product testing. Participate in on-site visits during testing, resolving any issues as they arise. Estimate time and effort for test activities to maintain cost and schedule adherence. Work closely with other project team members, contributing to design reviews and fostering a collaborative team environment. Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Investigate EMC or TEMPEST failures, identifying the root cause and collaborating with engineers to propose solutions that minimize hardware changes. Ensure compliance with security regulations as outlined in the Security manual. Qualifications/Skills Required: Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience in EMC and TEMPEST testing and requirements. Proven ability to investigate EMC and TEMPEST failures and suggest corrective actions. Experience working with test houses in a collaborative environment. Knowledge of best practices for right-first-time design for EMC and TEMPEST. Current SC clearance or willingness to obtain. Must be able to obtain DV clearance. Willingness to work at other company sites, especially in Maidenhead and Gloucester as required. Ability to produce high-quality technical documents.
