An experienced Product Safety Engineer is required to support the safe delivery of complex engineering systems within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus on identifying and managing hazards, developing safety cases, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards across the engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Managing hazards, risks and associated mitigations
- Maintaining hazard logs and safety documentation
- Producing safety cases and safety management plans
- Facilitating hazard identification workshops and safety reviews
- Supporting assurance and acceptance activities
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of safety management and risk assessment processes
- Experience across multiple phases of the engineering lifecycle
- Familiarity with defence or functional safety standards
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related STEM subject
