An exciting opportunity has arisen with a major UK defence engineering organisation for an experienced engineer to take on a technical leadership role within an EMC and Radiation Effects team. This role sits across the full engineering lifecycle, supporting activities from requirements and design through to proving and validation, ensuring systems operate effectively in challenging electromagnetic environments.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate EMC and Radiation Effects activities across multiple engineering programmes
- Provide technical input across requirements, design and proving
- Support the use of test facilities and innovative proving approaches
- Manage delivery of work on time, on cost and on quality
- Line manage and develop a small team of specialist engineers
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in EMC and/or Radiation Effects engineering
- Background in design, verification, proving or requirements engineering
- Demonstrated technical leadership or team management experience
- Good understanding of electrical / electronic engineering
- A collaborative leader with a proactive, adaptable approach
