Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a new programme of work. The successful individual will analyse complex business problems and develop solutions through processes and applications. You will lead, manage, and support efforts to empower our customers to establish and deliver their vision and value. Applicants must have active Security clearance for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand key business processes, architectural components, and operating procedures.
  • Lead reviews and define target business/operating models.
  • Identify stakeholders and analyse their perspectives and needs.
  • Elicit, analyse, define, and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate, analyse, and support business change impacts.
  • Undertake large and complex data analytical activities and form data management strategies.
  • Assist in establishing strategic vision and journeys for businesses.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand business drivers and desired outcomes.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing activities, define test scenarios, and assist in testing and training management.
  • Recommend and design modelling and testing approaches/methodologies.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of human/user-centered design frameworks and processes.
  • Ability to present actionable research insights to business stakeholders.
  • Requirements elicitation and working with Subject Matter Experts in Agile environments.
  • Business process modelling (e.g., UML).
  • Experience in multiple work streams in complex Agile environments.
  • Running requirement elicitation workshops and generating user story documentation.
  • Collaborative work with internal teams to shape user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identifying gaps between current and target processes and architectures.
  • Producing personas, journey maps, user stories, and pain point analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Self-starting, enthusiastic, keen to learn and contribute to programme success.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Knowledge of statistical systems (e.g., Origin, Matlab).
  • Data and Analytics knowledge.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding knowledge.
  • Experience in large-scale and complex integration programmes.
  • ITIL/Service Management methodologies.
  • Experience working with partner organisations and 3rd party suppliers.
