Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of a Head of Sales. This role can be based out of several locations, including Hampshire and Gloucestershire. You will provide strategic leadership across the sales function, managing, developing, and empowering a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll lead the market strategy, build a robust pipeline, and drive sustainable growth. Working closely with technical and delivery leaders, you’ll ensure customer needs are met through innovative, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver sales strategy and plans aligned to business goals.
- Build, manage, and review a reliable pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary sales team, ensuring accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.
- Drive a collaborative sales culture that aligns closely with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams.
- Represent the business at key industry, customer, and stakeholder events.
