Copello are recruiting for a RF Engineer to join a leading organisation in Buckinghamshire on a 6 month contract basis. As the RF Engineer, you will be working on a legacy programme providing integration and acceptance activities on RF subsystems within a lab-based environment.
Responsibilities of the RF Engineer include:
- Functional integration and testing support of RF subsystems
- Working in the lab to provide rapid integration and acceptance
- Working to project guidelines
- Ensuring product meets end clients' requirements, working to defence standards
As the RF Engineer, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of integrating RF Systems
- Background in Electronics/Aerospace or Defence
- Working with RF Lab test equipment including VNA's, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers, etc.
- Exposure to high power RF testing
- Working to standards such as DO-160, ARP4754, Mil-STD-704
- Right side of the V-model (acceptance, verification, qualification & integration)
This role will be offering a rate of circa £70-£75 per hour (inside IR35) and will require onsite working (4 days a week, some Fridays). Candidates will be required to have either SC clearance or be eligible for SC clearance.
