Job Title : Appointed Person Lifting Operations Location : Portsmouth Salary : Circa £38,000 (dependent on experience) Security Clearance: BPSS required Overview : Were currently seeking an experienced Appointed Person to oversee and coordinate lifting operations at our site in Portsmouth. This is a key role ensuring all lifting activities are planned, executed, and documented safely and in line with relevant regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Plan and supervise all lifting operations on site in compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations. Prepare lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments. Liaise with crane operators, riggers, and site management to ensure safe execution of lifting tasks. Carry out site inspections to assess lift requirements and constraints.
