We are looking for an Account Executive Europe to join our Cargo Solutions team at Copeland.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth across Europe by developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and promoting our temperature monitoring and supply chain visibility solutions.

You will work closely with retailers, logistics providers, and producers to help protect product quality and brand integrity throughout the cold chain.

This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom , and you will be expected to travel up to 50% across Europe.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across Europe, focusing on retailer-mandated programs, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and producers.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through a consultative sales approach and regular customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations to secure new business and expand existing partnerships.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and business updates.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Represent Copeland Cargo Solutions at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within cold chain logistics, transportation, supply chain, food industry, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
  • Experience working with temperature-sensitive, perishable, or high-value products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%-50% across Europe, depending on location.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience selling cold chain monitoring, Io T, visibility, logistics technology, or supply chain solutions.
  • Knowledge of retailer compliance programs, food safety requirements, and cold chain best practices.
  • Experience working with retailers, 3PLs, food producers, pharmaceutical companies, or cargo operators.
  • Additional European language skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics processes and supply chain operations.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
