Overview
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our purpose-built practice in Ingleby Barwick.
The Team
Our growing team currently consists of 3 Vets, 4 Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, and a highly experienced reception team. As our practice continues to expand, we\’re seeking a proactive and enthusiastic nurse who enjoys a varied role involving both nurse consultations and theatre work.
Work with Excellent Facilities
Our practice is located in a prime position within a large residential area and benefits from excellent on-site parking. We’re equipped with all the standard first-opinion tools including:
- In-house laboratory
- Digital x-ray (including dental) in a dedicated x-ray suite
- Separate theatre and dental rooms
- Endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Comfortable staff area for breaks – not to mention the regular treats we receive!
About Us
Copeland Vets is a family-run, small animal practice based in the lovely town of Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire. While this role is primarily based at our Ingleby Barwick practice, occasional cover may be required at one of our three Teesside locations, where we collaborate closely for support.
The area offers great local amenities, with shops and a supermarket nearby, and is well-connected with excellent transport links via road, rail, and nearby airports. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the beautiful Cleveland Hills are just a short drive away.

Working Hours
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days, with a Saturday morning rota in place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
