About the role:

If you thrive on being a key player in a small team and have the skills to design, make and productionise high value, bespoke engineering parts, then we want to hear from you. This is a role for a motivated, self-starter who can make a difference. We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Programmer, Setter, Machinist. To be successful you must demonstrate end to end manufacturing capability, from CAD/CAM design to programming (on-line and off-line) and manufacture of a wide range of bespoke precision components. Knowledge of Heidenhain & Mazak milling controllers is essential, and Fanuc turning controller a distinct advantage.

In addition, you should be capable to design, make and prove out new fixtures and jigs, to efficiently produce high quality components to customer specification. Job Dimensions:

  • Multi-skilled: Fully capable on all aspects of CAD/CAM design (Fusion 360, Powermill, Powershape), programming (Heidenhain, Mazatrol essential), set up and operation of all machines.
  • Metrology: Capable on CMM and all other instrumentation and measurement devices.

About you:

Qualifications / Education / Experience:

  • Manufacturing ONC/HNC or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 Years experience at shop floor level
  • CAD/CAM Design & Modelling Fusion 360, Powermill, Powershape
  • CNC programming, setting, machining Milling - Heidenhain & Mazatrol essential
  • Turning - Fanuc
