About the role: If you thrive on being a key player in a small team and have the skills to design, make and productionise high value, bespoke engineering parts, then we want to hear from you. This is a role for a motivated, self-starter who can make a difference. We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Programmer, Setter, Machinist. To be successful you must demonstrate end to end manufacturing capability, from CAD/CAM design to programming (on-line and off-line) and manufacture of a wide range of bespoke precision components. Knowledge of Heidenhain & Mazak milling controllers is essential, and Fanuc turning controller a distinct advantage. In addition, you should be capable to design, make and prove out new fixtures and jigs, to efficiently produce high quality components to customer specification. Respect for Health & Safety is a given. Continuous Improvement is a way of life. Autonomy will be yours if you demonstrate accountability for your actions.
We offer a competitive salary, company pension and the opportunity to join the company profit share scheme. We currently operate on a 4-day basis, which means that for most of the year you will enjoy a 3-day weekend! Job Dimensions:
- Multi-skilled: Fully capable on all aspects of CAD/CAM design (Fusion 360, Powermill, Powershape), programming (Heidenhain, Mazatrol essential), set up and operation of all machines.
- Metrology: Capable on CMM and all other instrumentation and measurement devices.

- Manufacturing ONC/HNC or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 Years experience at shop floor level
