About the role

We are looking for an Immunisation Nurse, 2 days per week, to join our Head Office Team in Nottingham City Centre. The Immunisation Nurse will deliver vaccination and phlebotomy clinics, in line with customer needs; these may take place on customer premises in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, or at the COPE HQ clinic in Nottingham city centre. The role includes:

  • Maintenance of the cold chain including monitoring of fridge temperature and maintenance of accurate records;
  • Being responsible for stock control and ordering;
  • Acting as a contact for BBVE referrals, advising colleagues etc;
  • Ensuring that emergency equipment is in place and in working order;
  • Having oversight of clinical waste and sharps disposal processes.

About you

You will be a Registered General Nurse with an active PIN with no restrictions or conditions. It is essential that you are up to date with your immunisation training and have recent experience in vaccinations and phlebotomy. You will also be experienced in the full range of immunisation related tasks & vaccine management. You will have excellent IT skills and be a great communicator. You will be quality driven and have excellent record keeping skills. You will have a full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to customer sites.
