We are expanding our fleet and are currently looking for an HGV Driver to join our supportive network of HGV drivers at our York Operation Centre, YO41 1HS.
A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers vehicles of all shapes and sizes from both rural and urban environments. These vehicles are primarily accident damaged and therefore loading/unloading them can be physically demanding. We will however ensure you have the best training to steer you to success.
A reasonable salary expectation based on an average of a 7 vehicle collection per day would be approx. up to £48,966pa. We see Copart as a family and as a supportive network. We work together to strive for greatness in a forever changing environment, but not forgetting to enjoy the journey.
What we need from you:
- HGV/LGV Licence Class 1
- A good understanding of the EU 'drivers' hours' and 'working time' rules using a Tachograph
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in basic IT skills and the use of a handheld device
- Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage
