Join The Green Parts Specialists, the UK’s leading vehicle dismantling company, and be part of a growing, eco-focused team. We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Skelmersdale, WN8 9SU. You’ll play a key role in selecting and packing high-quality recycled car parts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times. Ideal for someone self-motivated who thrives working independently. Be part of the green revolution in automotive recycling. The salary for this position is £27,976 per annum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing ticketing, picking, packing, counting, housekeeping, and safety functions
  • Supporting quality audits
  • Updating Company computer systems
  • Picking parts for shipment according to orders
  • Matching packing list information with packed merchandise
  • Packing and labelling stock items using identification tags, stamps, or labelling equipment
  • Identifying and reporting incorrect or short-shipped items to the Team Leader
  • Inspecting stock items for wear and defects
  • Maintaining general housekeeping by keeping the warehouse and yard clean and tidy
  • Disposing of rubbish in designated recycling bins
  • Organising and tidying stock storage areas
  • Cleaning and photographing car parts

What we need from you:

  • FLT Counterbalance licence (preferably with high-level order picking experience)
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices
  • You must be computer-literate, although training on our specific company software will be provided.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Distribution Centre environment
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities
