We are currently looking for a General Manager to join our Operations Team and be part of our continuing growth at our St Helens Operation Centre, WA10 3DB. As a General Manager you will take ownership of a Copart Facility, leading a team of people to ensure your facility’s success. You will take responsibility for the performance of the whole team. Through a management team under your direct leadership, you will inspire & motivate the team to ensure the efficient operation of your facility and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and profitability of your business against expectations.
What We Need From You
- A proven track record of good people management and excellent leadership skills – Able to coach, develop, challenge and support the facility management teams to succeed and grow.
- An excellent communicator – able to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels across facilities and the wider business.
- The ability to drive operational service – able to use operational metrics and levers to interpret reporting and data.
- Able to lead, challenge and motivate your team through performance management discussions, leading to consistent service standards.
- Experience of effective P&L management, driving revenues and challenging costs.
- The ability to drive continuous improvement – able to effectively manage and take ownership for change, ensuring that it is positively communicated, embraced and embedded, whilst service standards are maintained.
- Demonstrable understanding of the automotive service industry.
