As an HGV Driver, you'll collect, transport, and deliver accident-damaged vehicles across the local area, providing excellent customer service while working safely and efficiently.

What you'll receive:

  • Earn approximately £43,438 per year (based on an average of 7 vehicle collections per day)
  • Monday to Friday working
  • No bank holiday working
  • Three weeks dedicated one-to-one training
  • Ongoing CPC training
  • Opportunity for Class 2 drivers to gain their Class 1 (C+E) licence after probation

If you enjoy travelling and no two weeks being the same, our Roamer/Tramper role could be for you. Based from Peterlee, you'll travel to Copart Operation Centres across the UK, providing holiday cover and additional support during busy periods. You'll typically stay away from home 3–4 nights each week and receive generous additional allowances.

What you'll receive:

  • Earn approximately £52,516 per year (based on an average of 7 vehicle collections per day)
  • £3,000 annual Roamer allowance
  • £45 overnight allowance for every night away (£30 tax free)
  • Monday to Friday working
  • No bank holiday working
  • The opportunity to work across different locations throughout the UK

What we're looking for:

  • HGV/LGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
  • Current CPC
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Experience driving in both rural and urban environments
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confidence using handheld devices and basic IT systems
  • The ability to organise your workload and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with vehicle recovery or car transporters is advantageous but not essential—we'll provide full training.
