Copart is currently recruiting a Yard Operator to join the team at our East Kilbride Operation Centre, G75 0SB. Our Yard team is a dedicated team that is crucial to our operation. They love working in all weathers and have a passion for vehicles and working with cars. We see Copart as a family and as one team we guide and support every teammate, to ensure that we have the skills to tackle every challenge that comes our way. Our team consistently and promptly responds to customer requests and completes service orders to deadlines. They ensure that vehicles are stored and maintained in line with customer and company standards and operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles.
The salary for this position is £27,976 per annum.
What skills do you need to have?
- Full driving licence
- Proven experience in using plant, forklift loaders/shovels
- Excellent customer service
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Happy to work outside, in all weather conditions
