Copart are recruiting HGV Drivers to join our supportive network of professional drivers, covering our Wolverhampton Operation Centre, WV5 8AW, and the surrounding area.
As a Car Transporter Driver, you\βll load, collect, and deliver accident-damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort. This full-time, Monday to Friday role offers a great work-life balance with no bank holiday work.
Copart is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, partnering with insurance companies, banks, and automotive businesses. Drivers must comply with legal and company standards, performing vehicle inspections and reporting any issues.
No transporter experience? No worries β we\βll provide 3 weeks of one-on-one training and ongoing CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, you can upskill to C+E after completing your probation.
After training a reasonable salary expectation based on an average on 7 vehicle collections per day, would be approx. Β£43,113 per annum.
What we need from you:
- HGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
- Current CPC
- A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations using a Tachograph
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
- Car transportation or recovery experience
