We are looking for a Parts and Inventory Technician to support vehicle dismantling, parts recovery, inventory management, and quality control activities based at our Workshop in Skelmersdale, WN8 9SU. This hands‑on role focuses on recovering reusable components from bumper assemblies, accurately processing inventory, and ensuring parts meet resale standards. The salary for this position is £27,976 per annum.
Key Responsibilities- Dismantle bumper assemblies and recover reusable parts such as grilles, fog lights, and DRLs.
- Tag, label, and record parts using inventory systems.
- Assess component quality and suitability for resale.
- Support Quality Control inspections and standards compliance.
- Work with Inventory Analysts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Experience in vehicle dismantling, automotive parts handling, or similar preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle components, particularly bumper‑related parts.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assessment skills.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and tagging processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
