We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Engine Removal Specialists to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and a passion for cars of all makes and models. Green Parts Specialists Ltd (GPS Ltd) is the UK's leading ISO-accredited vehicle recycling company, dedicated to the collection, dismantling, and recycling of vehicles in a way that supports both environmental sustainability and high-quality service. Based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, we supply parts to both trade and retail customers nationwide.
You’ll work Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:15, giving you a great work-life balance and plenty of personal time. On-target earnings of up to £36,000. You’ll also be provided with a dedicated toolbox station including premium Milwaukee power tools.
Key Responsibilities- Safely removing engines, gearboxes, and major components from vehicles
- Using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure parts are undamaged and ready for resale
- Maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in a busy workshop environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet daily dismantling targets
- Solid mechanical knowledge and experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Previous experience in engine removal, vehicle dismantling, or automotive repair is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to quality
