We are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team at our head office in Wootton, Bedford MK43 9EJ. Please note, due to the office location you must drive or have access to a car. This is a full‑time permanent position working from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external customers and will handle front office reception duties, including:
- Greeting guests
- Answering phones
- Handling company enquiries
- Sorting and distributing mail
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
- Greet visitors warmly and maintain the visitor register.
- Connect callers with the correct person and refer complex queries to the appropriate department.
- Log and inform departments of incoming post and packages, liaising with outside delivery companies.
- Perform administrative work while operating the switchboard to assist the team.
- Organise and prioritise own workload.
- Manage front office reception duties.
