We're currently looking for HGV Drivers to join our team based at our Rochford Operation Centre SS14 1NB. As an HGV Driver, you'll load, collect, and deliver accident-damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort. This full-time, Monday to Friday role offers a great work-life balance with no bank holiday work.
Copart is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, partnering with insurance companies, banks, and automotive businesses. Drivers must comply with legal and company standards, performing vehicle inspections and reporting any issues.
No transporter experience? No worries - we'll provide 3 weeks of one-on-one training and ongoing CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, you can upskill to C+E after completing your probation. A reasonable salary expectation based on an average of 7 vehicle collections per day would be approx. Β£43,951 per annum.
What we need from you:
- HGV Licence Class 1
- Current CPC
- A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
- Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but isnβt essential
