We're looking for an HGV Driver to join our team at Copart, based near East Kilbride (G750SB). As an HGV Driver, you'll load, collect, and deliver accident‑damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort. This full‑time, Monday to Friday role offers a great work‑life balance with no bank holiday work.

Copart is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, partnering with insurance companies, banks, and automotive businesses. Drivers must comply with legal and company standards, performing vehicle inspections and reporting any issues. No transporter experience? No worries – we'll provide three weeks of one‑on‑one training and ongoing CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, you can upskill to C+E after completing your probation. After training, a reasonable salary expectation based on an average of seven vehicle collections per day would be approx. £45,749 pa.

Responsibilities
  • Load, collect, and deliver accident‑damaged vehicles.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Comply with legal and company standards, including EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations.
Qualifications
  • HGV licence Class 1 & Class 2 (current CPC)
  • Good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
  • Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confidence in the use of handheld devices, with experience in basic IT applications
  • Adaptability and ability to organise and adjust your working day
  • Car transportation or recovery experience an advantage, but not essential
