We're recruiting HGV Drivers to join our team based at our Colchester Operation Centre, CO7 6HR. The role involves loading, collecting, and delivering accident‑damaged vehicles. It is a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position that offers a good work‑life balance with no bank holiday work.
Responsibilities
- Load, collect, and deliver accident‑damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Comply with legal and company standards, including EC Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
Qualifications
- HGV Licence Class 1 & Class 2.
- Current CPC.
- Understanding of EC Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
- Driving experience in rural and urban environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidence in using handheld devices and basic IT applications.
- Adaptability and ability to organise and adjust your workday.
- Car transportation or recovery experience is an advantage but not essential.
