We are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join our team at our Saintfield Operation Centre – BT24 7JU. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with no bank holiday working, so you benefit from a great work‑life balance and more time to yourself.
Our yard operatives are a dedicated team that are crucial to our operation. They respond promptly to customer requests and complete service orders to deadlines. They ensure vehicles are stored and maintained in line with customer and company standards and operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles.
Salary: £27,976 per annum.
Essential Skills
- Full driving licence
- Proven experience in using plant, forklift loaders/shovels
- Excellent customer service
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in using basic IT applications
- Be able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Happy to work outside, in all weather conditions
