At Copart, we’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Manager to join our team, covering the Corby / Wisbech area. If your background is in self-employment and you want to maintain that level of autonomy while enjoying the stability of a regular income, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of automotive customer accounts. Working to set targets, you’ll drive growth by staying in regular contact with clients, conducting performance reviews, and building strong, long-term relationships. This is a field-based role, with some flexibility to work from home or a Copart Operations Centre. It requires a high level of self-motivation and initiative — ideal for someone who thrives on independence and has a solid understanding of sales and account management.

You’ll have the freedom to plan your schedule and approach, and the opportunity to earn based on your performance. As our customer base grows, so does your potential.

Your earnings opportunity: Basic salary of £27,338 per annum. On top of this, if you hit 100% of your target, you can earn up to £750.00 per calendar month in commission, with the ability to take this up to 150% of your target, which equates to commission earnings up to £1,125.00 per calendar month. This means you could earn up to £37,700.00 per annum.

If you're ready to combine the mindset of a self-starter with the benefits of a salaried role, we’d love to hear from you!

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular customer reviews
  • Set your own appointments and manage your own diary
  • Achieve annual sales targets and objectives set by the business
  • Manage contractual documentation to ensure full compliance
  • Identify and sell the appropriate product into each customer, maximising margin opportunities
  • Maintain the Salesforce database at all times with orders, activity, and account contact information
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, within both the sales and operational team as well as key departments
  • Own your own learning, with the support of your line manager and a structured training program
  • Ensure accurate and timely management updates and reports
What we need from you:
  • Candidates must be located in the Corby / Wisbech area
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable successful field sales experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great IT skills
  • Strong time management and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
What we offer you in return:

  • Give Back: Receive a paid day to volunteer for a charity of your choice.
  • Health & Wellness: Healthcare Cash Plan, allowing you to claim cash back on a range of healthcare products and services including dental, optical, chiropody, and specialist consultations, tests, and scans and Virtual GP access.
  • Your Future: Join our contributory workplace pension scheme for financial security.
  • Investment: Purchase shares in our global company at a discounted rate.
  • Fitness & Health: Save money while commuting with our Cycle to Work Scheme and access fitness videos and gym discounts.
