We are currently recruiting for a Parts Sales Executive to help propel our business to new heights based at our Skelmersdale Op Centre, WN8 9SU. GPS is the UK’s premier supplier of recycled car parts, established to meet the growing need for reducing vehicle repair times and costs. We supply large quantities of green parts, serving not only the vehicle body repair industry but also mechanical repair shops and the global marketplace, including eBay.
The salary for this position is £32,136.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles using in house or online parts catalogues.
- Advise availability and provide quotes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Take an active role in the sales process, reaching out to customers when required to make the sale.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a working knowledge of inventory and pricing.
- Work with body shops, garages, and body shops to supply bulk and repeat orders.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally progressing from a sales representative to an executive role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Able to achieve results both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong listening skills, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Familiarity with media tools is an advantage, although not essential.
- Able to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently with good self-management abilities.
