We are currently recruiting an Administrator to join our Member Services Team, based at our office in Bedford, MK44 3JZ. As you will be the first point of contact for our members, our Member Services Administrators play a fundamental role in a team that strives for high quality and member satisfaction.
Copart members are able to bid on and buy vehicles in auctions across the UK and Ireland. The Member Services team are responsible for the registration of new Copart members, the renewal of existing members and everything in between.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Managing incoming calls from our members
- Administration, such as processing member applications, checking documents and ensuring systems are kept up to date
- Handling sensitive information in line with the data protection legislation
- Completing the new membership registration and renewal process
- Calling potential members to encourage and help them complete their member registration
- Communicating with members via email and telephone
- Helping our members with account queries, such as live auction queries, payments and complaints
- Dealing with difficult conversations, on occasion
- Providing an unparalleled customer experience for our members
What we need from you:
Essential attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills and to be able to professionally handle complaints
- A passion for helping others and solving problems
- A highly confident individual, able to manage incoming and outgoing calls
- Able to multitask and work toward achieving key performance indicators, as set by management
Desirable attributes:
- Microsoft Office skills - excel, word, outlook and teams
- Previous experience in an administration/sales role
- Previous experience of taking payments over the telephone
- Understanding of the need to protect sensitive information.
