COPA90 is the world’s largest independent football media business, a distributed media network that reaches more than 100 million fans around the world. It is the definitive youth media brand for football. COPA90 believes that football is the universal language. It defines the football agenda. COPA90 is seeking a Head of Talent to oversee its UK based Talent Studio. The Head of Talent would be responsible for building and delivering COPA90’s creative and strategic approach to talent and influencers, both in-house and booked. The role requires working with the strategic, creative, marketing and production teams to develop new content formats and innovative editorial approaches to access opportunities with the most famous faces in the world; football players, artists and influencers in the sport, television, music and broader culture and entertainment worlds. The desired candidate will have excellent agent, publicist and celebrity contacts and a track record of developing standout video activations and editorial content featuring the leading names in culture and sport. As a member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will work closely with department heads across the business to ensure our talent function is delivering against company wide objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders at PR and Talent Management Agencies, record labels and clubs.
  • Oversee and lead creative development and direction of editorial/interview formats.
  • Overall responsibility for content output from the Talent Studio.
  • Managing the Talent Studio team and supporting junior staff.
  • Coordinate with commercial teams on talent needs and requirements.
  • Oversee the response to brand briefs from the sales team and the subsequent delivery of commercial sponsorship products.
  • Develop internal talent roster and manage relationships.

Requirements:

  • Excellent agent, publicist and celebrity contacts.
  • Experience with fee and contract negotiation.
  • Extensive experience both conducting and directing interviews.
  • Comprehensive understanding of content production process.
