The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.
Provide support to clients on the legislations and regulatory requirements around UK Payment Services.
Maintaining knowledge of regulations such as Payment Services Regulations 2017 and the Electronic Money Regulations 2017.
Reviewing client documents, applying the necessary legal and regulatory frameworks.
Provide support for FCA applications for various Payments Services firms.
Answering client questions regarding their regulatory obligations from a technical perspective.
Occasional responsibility to attend clients' sites to perform Payment Services tasks.
Become a trusted advisor to clients to maintain relationships.
Supporting peers within your direct team and sharing best practices.
Experience required of the Senior Consultant:
- Relevant regulatory experience (ideally 2-3 years) in Financial Services, ideally from another consulting firm or an in-house role at a Payments firm or EMI.
- Experience with regulatory licensing applications and the requirements involved in obtaining those.
- Be articulate in communications both written and verbally, with the ability to interpret and analyse data thoroughly.
- Have a strong attention to detail ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Educated to Degree level and competent with a full suite of Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ability to work within a team, whilst also having own initiative, with the capability to manage more than one work stream at once.
