Senior Manager – Regulatory Consulting – Insurance Coopman Search and Selection are partnered with an award-winning, professional services business, who provide expert advice and regulatory consulting to financial institutions, as they look to add a Senior Manager to their Insurance practice. Key responsibilities of the Senior Manager: Consulting to clients in the Insurance sector with a variety of Compliance related support, from FCA authorisation applications to auditing and regulatory due diligence. Maintain up to date and working knowledge of the FCA Handbook, the Financial Services and Markets Act and operational working of the Insurance space. Undertaking audits for clients, which are then reported on and recommendations made of where improvements can be made from a regulatory perspective. Assisting and providing oversight to support the work of more junior members of the team. Drive revenue and growth of the practice by identifying opportunities to offer new and value add services to existing and prospect clients. Promote strong client relationship management by remaining as a trusted advisor to firms. Experience and qualities required of the Senior Manager: Working and demonstrable knowledge of the financial regulations (ICOBS, SYSC) around Insurance and firms operating within this space. Prior consulting experience is essential in this role; management experience is desirable but not essential. Self-starter attitude to be able to independently work on multiple projects at once. Impeccable attention to detail with both written and verbal communication to clients. Strong collaborative mindset to work with the wider team and business.
