A leading international bank searching for a Sanctions SME on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As the Sanctions Senior Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, global team at the forefront of the evolving financial crime landscape. You’ll collaborate with the global financial crime team to navigate complex sanctions environments and ensure compliance with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the global sanctions framework, ensuring policies and procedures are updated and integrated into business processes.
• Provide expert advice on complex sanctions escalations.
• Contribute to financial crime compliance risk assessments and influence the development of robust sanctions training and awareness programs.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry best practices by engaging with industry bodies and external stakeholders.

Experience Required

• Strong academics with experience in economic sanctions compliance
• In-depth knowledge of global sanctions laws, regulations, and best practices (UK, EU, and APAC)
• Proven ability to analyse complex regulatory and technical information and assess intricate commercial transactions.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across regions.

This position is being offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
