We’re growing our London office and are looking for an experienced recruitment professional to lead and scale our Accounting & Finance practice. Whether you’re currently a Principal Consultant, Manager, or Associate Director, this is a senior opportunity to shape the direction of a high-potential market, engaging with market-leading clients while cultivating and mentoring a talented team around you.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop new client relationships while strengthening long-term partnerships with existing ones.
  • Proactively engage with both active and passive talent to ensure the strongest cultural and technical fit for our clients.
  • Provide tailored recruitment solutions that align with clients’ needs.
  • Share market intelligence and insights, positioning yourself and Coopman as trusted advisors.
  • Build a strong professional network by attending industry events and leading Coopman-hosted initiatives.
  • Leverage our market-leading technology to proactively connect with top industry talent.
  • Stay ahead of macro and sector-specific developments, becoming a go-to expert in your field.
  • Contribute to wider business and marketing initiatives, playing a key role in Coopman’s continued success.
  • Deliver against revenue and operational objectives, contributing directly to Coopman’s continued growth and impact.
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire consultants to accelerate their potential.

What we’re looking for:

  • A commercially minded recruiter with a track record of success in financial services, Hedge Funds, Private Markets, Asset Managers, or broader financial services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, able to foster trust and credibility with both clients and candidates.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • A passion for building a successful practice, developing others, and driving meaningful change.
