Coopman Search & Selection are delighted to be partnering with a leading global aviation consultancy to expand their New York team. This client-facing role focuses on relationship management, strategic account development, and supporting aircraft and asset financing activities across the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for key airline, lessor, investor, and industry clients across the Americas.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships, identifying opportunities to support clients’ financing and fleet objectives.
- Collaborate internally with finance, legal, credit, and risk teams to deliver tailored financing and investment solutions.
- Support the origination and execution of aircraft and asset financing transactions through strong client engagement.
- Represent the firm at industry meetings, conferences, and client events across the Americas.
- Monitor market developments and client activity to proactively identify new business opportunities.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience in aviation finance, aircraft leasing, banking, or a related client-facing role.
- Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills in complex, international environments.
- Strong understanding of aircraft financing structures and aviation market dynamics across the Americas.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage strategic accounts.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and cultural awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
