The predicted salary is between 48000 - 84000 £ per year.

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with a growing alternative investment manager with circa £10 billion AUM. This role is a newly created role and will report into the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the compliance programme, as well as supporting on wider legal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance oversight and monitoring activities of the firm
  • Provide advice to the business on key FCA regulatory requirements
  • Updating and managing the firm’s compliance policies and procedures
  • Maintaining employee certifications in accordance with the FCA’s Senior Management Certification Regime
  • Supporting on agreements such as third-party marketing agreements, research agreements, IMAs, management company contracts etc.
  • Providing compliance input on a range of projects
  • Building strong compliance relationships with the business
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of compliance & legal experience within an asset management
  • Legal qualifications are desirable although not essential.
  • Experience with AIFMD regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
