Coopman Search is partnering exclusively with a growing alternatives boutique on their search for a Finance Manager to lead on financial operations across the firms European SPVs and respective entities.
This broad ranging opportunity will see you working in close collaboration with the UK based CFO and US based finance team.
Presently, this role will be a fully remote position with a view to eventually opening a London office, therefore this role requires somebody who is a self starter, disciplined and organised but who in future is able to commute to London on a hybrid basis (this is will be agreed with the CFO but by no means will be a 5 day a week commute).

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of general ledgers for non-fund entities across Europe
- Implement and optimize financial controls and reporting systems
- Efficient processing of AP ledger
- Prepare cash and general ledger reconciliations
- Contribute to the NAV process
- Updating of valuation models
- Manage KYC/AML process for new entity set-up
- Coordinate with third-party service providers for tax preparations/submissions and financial statements
- Support external audit processes
Person Specification
- Qualified accountant preferred (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA) ideally with relevant experience in asset management or financial services.
- Proven background in financial reporting and control processes with working knowledge of SPV accounting.
- Experience working with third-party providers
- Experience with Quickbooks / Xero or similar
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail.
