We are partnered with a leading Alternative Investments firm, with a focus on Sustainability and Private Equity, as they look to bring in a Senior Compliance Manager to strengthen the capability and knowledge of the existing compliance function. This is a generalist role, which will report directly into the UK Head of Compliance.
Responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Manager:
- Provide leadership on regulatory change projects, with a focus on horizon scanning responsibilities, and advising the business on anything relevant.
- Act as a lead on the firm's ESG & Sustainability Regimes, providing advisory support to the wider business.
- Submit regulatory filings in line with the US SEC Compliance requirements, including Form ADVs.
- Assist with the firm's CASS framework, including the auditing of this.
- Support the CRO with the IFPR Framework, looking at the ICARA, winddown planning and MiFIDPRU.
- Review and approval of Financial Promotions for the business.
- Assistance with Data Protection and Governance frameworks.
Experience requirement of the Senior Compliance Manager:
- 6+ years experience working within the buy side, ideally with an Alternative Investment firm.
- Strong working knowledge of AIFMD regulations and the wider FCA Handbook, including CASS, MiFIDPRU and ESG.
- Experience dealing with US SEC regulatory filings within a Registered Investment Adviser.
- Good knowledge of Financial Promotion rules.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, but look after projects independently when needed.
- Interest in using technology to enhance and improve compliance processes.
- Strong academic background, ideally with a professional qualification or diploma.
