Job summary – What to expect:

As part of our Distribution team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely shipment of customer orders. You’ll be responsible for planning, allocating, and releasing pick lists through our Warehouse Management System (WMS), helping us meet service level targets and deliver outstanding customer service.

You’ll work closely with internal teams to resolve any issues that may delay order processing, and contribute to the efficient flow of operations across our pick, pack, and ship functions.

Essential functions and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and organize daily pick lists (approx. 4,000 per day) to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Identify and resolve any problematic orders, collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely processing.
• Communicate with Customer Services and Distribution teams to provide updates on order progress.
• Support the achievement of departmental KPIs by providing accurate reports and insights.
• Follow and help improve standard operating procedures.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety across the operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Train others and receive training in line with SOPs and documentation.
• Step in to prioritize work in the absence of team leaders.
• Be flexible to support other areas of operations when needed.

What skills and experience should you have?

• Experience with wave planning is essential.
• Knowledge of JDA, Oracle and their functions desirable.
• Proven experience of scheduling/planning, balancing conflicting priorities desirable.
• Working knowledge of MS Office functions essential, specifically MS Excel and Outlook
• Good standard of English in verbal and written form
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Planning & organizing work to be released to the warehouse.
• Ability to balance conflicting priorities.
• Continuous Improvement/change orientation.
• Driven to achieve results and meet targets.

Work Environment:

• The immediate work area is a large open plan warehouse with lots of moving equipment and team members in close proximity.
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn, no make-up and no heels
• 90% of this position requires use of a PC, and being seated for prolonged periods of time.
• Some of our work areas have a high level of noise from the operations of various machinery. Where this is above prescribed limits, PPE is supplied and must be worn at all times.
