Job Summary – What to Expect
On your Global Sales Operations Placement in our Regional Commercial Team, you will support day‑to‑day activities such as system releases, reporting, and ongoing improvement initiatives, while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. You will gain practical exposure to how global organisations use Salesforce to manage customer data and sales pipelines, and Conga to manage contract lifecycles, while developing both technical capabilities and key soft skills such as communication, organisation, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the CRM (Salesforce) and CLM (Conga) teams with day‑to‑day activities and ongoing tasks
- Assisting with the monthly system release process, working with IT and updating tasks in JIRA
- Helping maintain and improve data quality in Salesforce, especially customer and account information
- Supporting project work across CRM and CLM initiatives, including helping to document current (“as‑is”) processes and future (“to‑be”) improvements
- Assisting with process mapping and documentation to make workflows clearer and easier to follow
- Providing general project support, including tracking actions and helping teams stay organised
- Helping to track and update commercial KPIs and performance metrics, including dashboards and visualisations
- Supporting the preparation of materials for monthly meetings and quarterly business reviews
- Contributing to regular reporting on project progress and key metrics
- Assisting in creating and updating training materials and user guides to help improve system adoption
- Taking ownership of the monthly licence review process
About You
- Currently completing a placement year at university or a recent graduate seeking hands‑on experience
- Analytical and curious, with an interest in understanding both the “what” and the “why”
- Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data, Excel, and PowerPoint (Salesforce exposure is a plus but not required)
- A strong communicator in English (written and verbal)
- Able to manage their own workload, prioritise tasks, and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working across global teams
- A collaborative team player with a global mindset
