This role involves establishing UK independent optical groups and practices to launch Diffusion Optics Technology (DOT) spectacle lenses. You will own a targeted rollout model, leading the market activation of DOT throughout the UK with cross‑functional project support. Frequent travel within the UK for customer meetings is required.
Responsibilities- Lead UK market activation of DOT, managing a targeted launch with customers at both head office and store level
- Identify and support a group of independent ECPs to list and begin prescribing DOT
- Partner with the Medical Affairs team to deliver product education to target customers
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and deliver customer marketing plans that support store activation
- Work closely with Customer Service & Lens Supply Manager to ensure a smooth service experience
- Maintain consistent customer engagement and support to ensure launch success, supported by the project team
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure on‑going analysis, review and refinement to maximise success
- Extensive sales/commercial experience (5+ years)
- Strong optical industry knowledge
- Ophthalmic lens experience (Preferred)
- Myopia Management experience (Preferred)
- An established UK optometry network (Preferred)
- New business generation (Preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating with a broad range of customers and a multi‑functional team
- Willingness to work independently in a remote environment
- Exceptional account management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High level of resilience
- Ability to rapidly switch between planning and execution
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent
