Lead Supply Chain Analyst – CooperVision
Location: Delta Park, Fareham, Hampshire (Onsite)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary
This role supports Senior Global Supply Managers (GSMs) in end‑to‑end supply chain management for products, focusing on data analysis, project management, and recommendation of efficient processes and customer service levels.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Own a small product portfolio through the value stream.
- Manage new product introductions, discontinuations, and source of supply chain changes.
- Conduct demand management/forecast analysis and support the global supply strategy.
- Handle forecast differences, planning factors, and deep‑dive analysis.
- Provide project management support for Life Cycle Management (LCM) programs.
- Independently lead cross‑functional projects to improve supply chain initiatives.
- Support data analysis of forecasts, backorders, inventory settings, service levels, and value‑stream mapping.
- Coordinate production activities between packaging and manufacturing plans, including change management for new items and packaging changes.
- Collaborate with operations and regional planning teams to grow capabilities in constraint planning, inventory rebalancing, SKU mix, and supply management.
- Share experience to drive collective global supply chain capability.
- Follow corporate procedures, policies, and quality system requirements; recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support standardization, development, and maturation of key supply chain planning processes.
- Act as designate for the Senior Global Supply Manager in interactions with Operations and Commercial teams.
- Participate in the long‑range sales plan and annual planning budget process.
Travel
- Travel outside the regular work location, including international travel (around 15%).
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Well organized, highly self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a global team.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly adaptable, flexible, and open to new ideas, processes, and procedures.
- Project and program management skills.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with formal planning systems such as Logility or O9 preferred.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, change management, and team collaboration.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce and maintain composure under pressure.
- Quick learning aptitude and comprehension speed.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a supply chain environment.
- Minimum 3 years in item‑level planning roles (Supply Chain Planner, Senior Planner, Planning Analyst).
- Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or similar) preferred.
- Experience working in a global organization and familiar with supply chain planning parameters.
- Experience collaborating with key stakeholders (supply chain, manufacturing, operations, commercial).
- Professional certification in APICS/ASCM, CIPS, Project Management preferred.
Education
- Professional qualification or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or equivalent. Equivalent experience may substitute.
